Spartan Warrior Pose for MGEX Strike Freedom – A Powerful Display
Idea
Recently, I experimented with a new pose for
my
MGEX Strike Freedom model —
the Spartan Warrior Pose —
and I was honestly blown away by how dynamic and commanding it looked.
Inspired by ancient warriors, this pose adds a whole new level of intensity
to the model. If you're looking for a powerful stance that makes your kit
stand out, this might be the one.
🔍
What is the Spartan Warrior Pose?
It’s a pose inspired by the classic stance of
a Greek Spartan soldier — shield in front, weapon ready, and a firm
battle-ready posture. When applied to the MGEX Strike Freedom, it turns the
sleek Gundam into a legendary warrior from another era. The combination of
mecha and mythology just looks amazing.
In the spartan warrior pose for the
MGEX strike freedom
model, it's quite simple. I just need to adjust the
leg frame
a little bit. As for the head, I'll rotate it to the left at a 45-degree angle
compared to the shoulder. For the wings in the back, I've opened all the
wing corners and rotated the wing angle back a little bit. The
base supporting
the model is quite stable. I don't need to adjust too much. I just need to
increase the height and extend the frame a little so that the model's legs
slightly touch the base. It's quite nice. Open the 2 wing corners of the
shoulder armor, and open the wing corner of the
waist armor. I attach a
shield
to the left ear of the model. I hold the
beam saber
in my
right hand
and lightly touch the shield. The
right arm
is raised at an 80-degree angle, it looks really good.
🛠
How I Set Up the Pose
Here’s a quick breakdown of how I posed it:
Legs apart, with
one bent slightly to create a stable stance.
Left arm raised,
like holding a beam shield defensively.
Right arm angled back, ready to strike with a beam saber.
DRAGOON wings spread wide
and tilted slightly back for a dynamic effect.
Mounted on an
action base to
adjust the angle and height just right.
📸 Tip: Use side or under
lighting to cast dramatic shadows — it looks fantastic in photos.

✍️ My Personal Experience
When I set this up and displayed it, a friend came over and
asked, “Whoa, did you mod this? It looks totally different!” No mods, just a pose. That’s
the power of good posing.
